rev:text	I "HAD" to start going to Labcorp due to insurance change. NEVER had problems with appointment lab draws and they were never more than 5-10 mins past your appt. Well this is my second appointment at Labcorp. The first wasn't to bad, but 50/50 isn't a good track record. I don't know if they don't have enough help or what. But when I am told to be there 15 mins before my appointment and am. I expect to be seen on time. The place was a zoo. 10 minutes past my appt. and already being there 25 mins they finally call my name. I give her my info and ask how much longer. The gal sitting next to her says I can take you as soon as she gets your info entered. So instead of sitting I stand (I have a very bad back and bad anxiety). I waited and waited and watched her continue to check people in, instead of take me back like she said she was going to. 10 minutes later I go ask the receptionist again how far behind are they and how much longer. She obviously can't speak as both time this other gal answers for her because she can only look at me with a dumb look on her face. The other gal this time was a bit ruder and said I will be with you in a minute after I take care of this STAT! The STAT appt didn't even come in until I had already been there 30 minutes. Then the gal gets up and calls not me back but someone else, then someone else. When she finally called me back she said that she had 2 other appts to check in. Leave it for the other gal and go draw your blood for crying out loud. I was so agrevated and my back was killing me and my anxiety and blood pressure by this time was thru the roof. Why allow people to schedule appointments if you are going to inconvenience them???? Or not see them on time? I am not happy that this is the lab I have to go to. I know what it is like to work short handed and do feel for the front desk gal. But the other gal needed to be back drawing blood and keeping appointments on time. UGH!
