  • I was sent here because my retinas have holes along the bottom. I had already had that verified by an ophthalmologist at a different office. Dr Pezda briefly looked and was definitely not understanding about my light sensitivity. I kept trying to tell him that it was difficult to hold my eyes in that position because of how bright it is. Every I let him know, he'd put more pressure on my eye to keep it open. And every time I let him know that pressing harder wasn't helping. It was definitely frustrating for me and he apparently thought so too because he stopped looking, got pretty rude, texted a bunch of people on his phone and that was basically it. After he briefly looked, he said one sentence and that was that there were no holes. But he would be happy to refer me to someone else. I didn't hear his conversation with Javier after the fact, but it seemed like something was going on and Pezda didn't want to handle my problem. My husband went back in and Dr Pezda said there may have been a change in the gel behind my retina. He wasn't thorough at all and his bedside manner is awful.
