One of the best walking tours I've ever been on. I've been living here in Charlotte for two years now and I learned a ton! Our guide, Tremain, was engaging and entertaining. Despite being with a group of tired college kids, he remained patient and had a very chill attitude. We started out at Trade and Tryon and learned about the significance of the statues on each corner. We went inside the Bank of America building to see some artwork and walk through the mall. We then continued down to 7th Street Market where he gave us some time to look around and grab a coffee from Not Just Coffee. We walked by the new Google building, and since our group expressed interest, he was happy to take us on a detour and learn about that new technology in Charlotte. We then walked into 4th ward and 4th ward park, learning history all the while. Surprisingly, he does this for fun and isn't a trained historian! He's also grew up in Charlotte and is now heavily involved in Charlotte public policy and the 2020 plan, giving him awesome insight to the city. Highly recommend. Take his tour, even if you live here, you might learn something new!
