  • My 74 year old father is looking to join a gym for the first time in his life and I was going to give him this as an Xmas gift. I called the location and asked for their rates. The gentleman started asking me all these questions (is he looking to lose weight, tone up etc). I said, this is for my dad and I just want the rates. He said, "there is a process we go through and I will get to the rates." I let him know I understand, simply just looking at rates. He rattles of the rates (ranges from 21.99 - 30.99 don't know he said it so fast), THEN HE HANGS UP!! I was not rude. I also work in sales, yet I would never hang up on somebody when they call me asking for rates. I feel since he wasn't going to get a sale he was rude.
