| - First impressions were great! Beautiful office, nice people, clean environment ... but after they get you in that chair, watch out. They were all sell sell sell, so much so that when I refused an add on service, they refused to give me a basic teeth cleaning all together. NOTE: (my teeth are in good shape btw, per my previous dentist and the dentist I went to after this place)
2nd. My initial visit I thought was for exam and cleaning, but after 2 HOURS of xrays and exams, they did not even clean my teeth just tried to pressure me into other services and to come back on a different day.
3rd. I called my insurance provider to make sure they were a part of my plan, they were. I called Open Wide Dental to make sure they were on my plan, they said they were. When I got my bill they were only a discounted participant but has kept a Dr. Baker on my insurance plans records to show they are a participating dentist. When my insurance company got my bill it was under Dr. Durisek not a Dr. Baker and on top of that, I didn't even see a Dr Durisek I saw a Dr. Kneib.
I know it all sounds confusing but in short... they pressured me into services that would be recommended not required and denied me services because I didn't take the add on services, and they are lying to my insurance company about a Dr that does not work there and not being honest about "being covered" on insurance plans. I will not go back and I don't recommend anyone going either.
