  • I sure have learned my lesson about not checking out Yelp before I give a place my hard earned money for ABYSMAL customer service and complete ineptitude! The only two standouts are the two ladies in customer service at the Henderson location. They saved me from cancelling my entire 3 room furniture order! I ordered my furniture JUNE 6TH for delivery on JULY 15Th, giving them PLENTY of time to get the pieces in. I asked the sales associate to add a note to my account to please notify me if a piece was backordered or discontinued. My gut instinct told me to call every week in spite of the note to make sure they were getting my order together. Unfortunately my pessimistic notions about Big's furniture were completely founded. I came to find out that not only was one of my items not there yet but it was DISCONTINUED and the manufacturer couldn't get the WOOD to produce my piece! I would have been ok with that if one of those USELESS customer service people at the Tenaya location had called me to let me know, especially since I explicitly requested them to do so. That was when the women at the Henderson location saved the day. They immediately found me a replacement a week before my order was scheduled to be delivered! I was impressed. I wish it ended there. When the furniture was delivered i was the last delivery of the day and the guys were worn out and had to carry heavy pieces upstairs. I wasn't standing outside with them when they unloaded the furniture and I heard a crash. Well when they brought my dresser up it was completely broken from them basically dropping it off the truck. I remained calm and just decided to wait until I got my replacement piece TWO MONTHS LATER to write this review. Folks I would've gladly paid TWICE the amount I paid for better customer service! STAY AWAY FROM BIG'S FURNITURE!!!!! There is way too much competition to settle for horrible customer service.
