| - This is one of the best coffee shops in Toronto and it is certainly the only one north of Bloor I'd venture to, not that I live particularly far. I just would never think to go to Dupont.
Ezra's Pound is tiny, with about six little tables, a counter, and a larger table in the window. It has free wifi (ask for the password), a shortage of outlets, organic everything, a lunch menu, and fabulous music. Everyone there is beautiful. The server closing up shop let us sit there while she swept the floor.
I was so pleased to be served a constantly-refilled glass of water with my coffee, which is such a perfect and simple concept, and found coffee ice cubes in my iced latte. They played Andrew Bird for a while.
The drinks are in the $3-6 range with tax, and my companion's brie-and-apple sandwich hit double digits, maybe $11 with tax.
It's just perfect.
