Wildfire Casino is the Mini Station Casino. Throughout the Las Vegas valley there are these mini Station casinos called Wildfire. This is a review on the Wildfire a few miles west of Sunset Station Casino off Sunset Road. It is based on a few Happy Hour experiences enjoying a cold one while hoping to win extra money playing $5 worth of Caveman Keno. This review touches on how far $5 averages playing Caveman Keno and hanging out in this Wildfire.
Taking into consideration that this is a mini Station casino, the property has a small footprint. When you walk in there is a small sports book to the right. Further up is the happening bar. This is where I spent my time and in the following paragraph discuss. In the center of the casino is a diminutive casino. Toward the back is the Wildfire Burger cafe. Finally at the end of the casino is a bowling alley.
During a few Happy Hours, I have placed $5 in the machine hoping that Lady Luck would hit all five of my numbers and grow a 25 cent bet into $200. If Lady Luck was not in the house, I'd enjoy an after work Budweiser draft. I'd learn that if you are playing that every hour is Happy Hour at Wildfire. The enthusiastic woman who was pouring the drinks enthusiastically told me that the drink was covered since I was playing. So gamblers, regardless if you win or loose the complimentary beer will reduce your net loss on $5 to $2. The drawback with playing here is that I found the Caveman Keno machines to be stiff. Usually I will win a few 4 out of 5s with the multiplier doubling the win. Lady Luck had not been in the house. In place of Lady Luck there were upbeat women in the house serving drinks with a friendly attitude. They introduce themselves to the customers which creates an environment where you feel appreciated unlike some establishments including the Serene Avenue Dotty's. At Wildfire, the staff interacts with the customers in lieu of looking over their shoulders to watch how much money and the rate they are gambling. Moving on in this review, I appreciate that they also serve draft beer that surprisingly some lounges fail to serve. Additionally Wildfire serves Barley's beer. Missing from Wildfire is a rock n roll presence that is prevalent in nearby Dylan's Lounge and even Dotty's. There is a professional sports presence with the TV monitors broadcasting games. This isn't surprising taking into consideration that parent company Station casinos is a shareholder in Ultimate Fighting.
In conclusion, Wildhorse is a nice mini Station casino in Green Valley. It gives meaning to the "Happy " in Happy Hour.
