  • While I like Steinmart for their sales and selection of fun clothing, I was appalled by one of their cashiers - a young white man in his 20's - who criticized an older Indian male co-worker for barely being able to speak English. I met the Indian male cashier and he spoke English just fine with ladies in the shoe dept. He has an accent. I told the young male cashier that his comment was offending and to keep stuff like that to himself. I found it racist. When an Asian female is your customer - is that the kind of garbage you should be aaying, let alone thinking? SMH.
