  • I hate to have to give Johnny Mac's a bad review on their pizza...but...truth is truth. The last 3 out of 4 pizza's have been so so bad....that we couldn't even eat them. The first one was great! But this last one....wow...it was absolutely disgusting. It was so greasy, soggy & the toppings were horrid (Johnny Mac's special pizza)! I have no idea why they refuse to put something under their pizzas to prevent them from turning into gross rubber. And I have no idea if they ran out of toppings....but the toppings tasted like something from a dollar store. I'm not even joking. You could put a piece of "pepperoni" in your mouth ...with you eyes closed...and you would never be able to recognize that it was pepperoni. It was that gross! I wish Johnny could supervise his kitchen "cooks" alot better. You spend almost $30 on a pizza....and can't even eat it. But...on a lighter note.....the fish and chips is pretty darn good. As long as they make the fish fresh. It's a hit & miss. I had it where you could clearly tell the fish was sitting for a while pre-cooked before we got it at our table...because it was barely luke warm & a bit spongey. But another time we got it...it was so hot...you had to wait a minute to even eat it....and it was hot & fresh! Spaghetti & meatballs is pretty good as well.....as long as you tell them Do not break the pasta up. But beware of the 2 for 1 Spaghetti special. You really get one spaghetti dinner that they split in half. The portion size looks like it's for a child. That was disappointing. The next time we ordered it to go....it was the same thing....so we asked the lead cook if this is what it's supposed to look like...and he said absolutely not! And he remade our order to go & it was like night & day! So that time turned out well. Meatballs are excellent! I've given up on the pizza. I won't try that again....so the fish on Fridays will have to do!
