Los Olivos is a long time Scottsdale restaurant. I went with family who had been there when it was new in the 50s. It was OK. We were seated in a room that was close to the bar, and it was SOOOO noisy. I could barely hear the server, and the rest of my party (who are older) had a really hard time hearing her.
The food was OK. I had the chimichanga with shredded beef. It lacked flavor. The salsa was good, but it came in jars you pour onto a plate. It was much more wasteful and messy than providing a bowl of salsa. The cheese crisp was divine.
All in all, it's far from where I was staying, and the food was only alright. I'll keep going to the places that are closer and better.
