These are some 'aspirational' fried cheese curds, right here...For folks not local to WI or immediately adjacent, what you may be able to find at your local Culvers or Dairy Queen doesn't hold a candle to Curd Girl's oooey-gooey, pull-able, perfectly battered and fried, flavorful cheesiness. I've been enjoying basic cheese curds since the 70's - I know quality, simple curd.
Nothing in common with factory-flash-frozen, packaged, and sold frozen cheese sticks, except the concept, I guess. I honestly don't know how to respond to complaints regarding product being greasy. It's cheese. And they've deep fried it in wonderfully delicious batter. WTF else can one (who wishes to eat food at its perfect temperature - still toasty) expect?
I've found the staff cheerful and efficient on my visits over the last year plus when in town.
