This is positively the best classic indoor stadium I have been to, but that is not saying much. I guess I could also say it is the best international MLB stadium outside the U.S. (now the only since the Expos moved to D.C.), but again, not saying much.
I was curious to see how the neighbors up North would support America's past time, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the locals actually support the team pretty enthusiastically. I guess there is nothing better to do before hockey season starts. Plus, they have had some good history with this building winning two World Series in the early 90s, and also the Toronto Argonaughts winning the Canadien Football league championships there.
The retractable roof is quite cool, and gives you a nice view of the CNN tower and cityscape. I stayed in the adjacent hotel the night of the game I attended and that was cool to watch batting practice from the hotel room and also go to the Hard Rock Cafe to get the view from there.
