  • I met the gentlemen who own Evoke at a fundraiser where I got my haircut on the fly. Jon's flying scissors worked magic in the most unique circumstances one could imagine having for a haircut. I decided that it would probably be a good idea to follow up at the Salon to get the cut finished. From the get go the experience was wonderful. The reception staff is friendly and efficient. Being polite and respectful to a woman who came in looking for a service that they don't offer and taking the time to talk to her about what she was hoping to accomplish with her next visit to a hair salon. I was offered a beverage and was even encouraged by another patron to try the juice. Before Jon even touched a pair of scissors he talked me through what he envisioned for my hair listening to everything I was hoping to accomplish. I'm someone who bounces from hairdresser to hairdresser because I can't find someone who can cut my fairly simple hair. I will definitely be back not just because of the haircut being brilliant, but because Jon and his staff live and breathe what they do, it's more then just a job for them. A combination of passion and talent is rare these days but it's front and center at Evoke. Just a quick edit: everyone has been RAVING about my new 'do. It's such a great was and wear style that looks great even when I sleep with wet hair. Evoke is a keeper for sure!
