My salesman, Edward, assured me that even though the car on the showroom floor did not have a spare tire that one would be there. Surprise, surprise, the sales manager said that it would cost $125 because a spare tire is an option.
A spare tire is an option?
So, if my family is out in the middle of the desert and the tire shreds in the 120 degree heat and the OnStar operator says they are busy and it will be hours to get to Timbuktu, I'm supposed to be patient?
Just because GM is cutting costs does not mean that customers should pay the price.
I walked away from this dealership and I would suggest the same for others.
