There are some bad reviews out there. This is an older casino but it is an amazing value.
If you get the bottom tier room yea they are probably not that nice. For a mid grade king room in the Royal Tower we got 5 nites for about $300 that's not bad at all that's resort fees included.
When I Vegas id rather stay @ a lower end casino and save a lot of money for gaming & experiences & dinners & shows. I do recommend Excalibur but don't get the $22 a night rooms.
Also some people complained about the smell well all casinos smell it's the booze sex cigarettes and cigars. I Vegas!
Also I read some people had trouble with the cocktail waitresses umm I've had about 10+ free drinks sofar u just need to be gambling and TIP the waitress! ($2-$4 to start then maybe $1-$2 from then) $1 tip is nothing in 2016.
