Having been to plenty of Goodlife gyms (Dufferin, Finch Stn, Yonge/Queen) I like this one the best. It's huge and mostly clean. I see reviews on here about how nasty the showers are so I should probably mention that the gym is currently undergoing renovation and the new shower stalls are much better and cleaner. Like all the other gyms you can avoid being yucked out by just bringing some slippers.
The workout area itself--big. I can divide the gym into three main areas off the top of my head. 1) The area you walk into just past reception. This is mostly cardio and the personal training area. Nice, big, sp8acious. Reception is mostly friendly, in the "nod in your direction and let you be on your way" way. 2) Area after you go through those stairs. Has the women's change room, and down the hall the men's. More treadmills, a big big room to hold classes/to stretch in, and then two more yoga based rooms off to the side. Free weights and squat racks are also in this area. 3) Upstairs. Free weights and machine area for the most part. But they also have cardio machines in front of the windows, which is nice.
My only real complaint about this gym is that sometimes the music is downright terrible and that people leave weights on the damn machine. But that's a problem with the patrons, not the gym.
