| - I'm changing my original 3 star rating to a 2 star rating. Vida cut down on the number of yoga classes and hours they operate. This completely threw off my schedule because I usually work in the evening and did not have as many options for yoga classes in the morning/noon.
Because of all these changes I still has a remaining 4 classes left on my punch card and then my card expired. I'm disappointed, the hours of operation are much limited now and the yoga classes are def cut down in the mornings...
Very disappointed.
----------------------------------------------------------
I had purchased a 20 class card on a dealfind website for a fraction of the original cost. This place was good, definitely a place that combines many forms if fitness classes from yoga, Zumba, Pilates, etc. The instructors are very relaxing too, especially Samantha and Yvonne. Their classes are really enjoyable, challenging and approaches to yoga is like a breath of fresh air.
The reason I gave this place a 3 is for a few reasons: 1st hot yoga isn't really hot... In fact, some classes were not actually even warm, although the description said 'Hot Yoga'. Very misleading when I first purchased the deal.
2nd, one specific instructor (not sure her name) substitutes when the actual instructors are not able to make if for the class; she is so unenthusiastic about the yoga. And simply dishes out instructions or poses without demonstrating it or giving examples. It discouraged my practice ever single class with her.
3rd, I have never spoken to anyone on the phone. It is very challenging to get a real person to speak to without going in. Hence I would have known when to avoid that specific instructor.
4th, Small things, no hair dryer for customer use; it says no perfumes yet the dressing room has air freshener products.
Overall I like this place for the two specific instructors, Yvonne and Samantha. This place has so much potential and needs to continue to make improvement for better yoga practice.
Namaste.
