So, it seems people are starting to learn how to make good coffee. I like when I ask a barista for an espresso ristretto and he or she doesn't look at me like "what?". At Ideal the barista just made me a very short dark and great shot of espresso. Their espresso blend is very good indeed. Not the best I've tried, but very good. I've been there a bunch of times because it's beside YogaSpace.
Now... WHY DO PEOPLE THINK TRENDY COFFEE PLACES HAVE TO LOOK LIKE HELL? Really. It's hot, it's ugly, and the bathroom is run by Cerberus himself. I don't feel attracted by a place like this. I like to feel somewhat pampered when I pay for food, otherwise I could do it at home - I can have great brazilian coffee delivered at my bed every morning thanks to my beloved husband & personal barista, so when I PAY for espressos, I expect to feel loved by my coffee shop. If my coffee shop doesn't love me, I can't love it.
I don't love you, Ideal. I'm just using your body for my caffeine needs.
