Pros:
- Terrific service both from the rep in-store and the guy I contacted to answer some questions around installing the bed I bought. The delivery coordinator though was pretty lifeless.
- I like the designs. Clean, simple, functional.
- Higher quality than Ikea
- Made in Canada
- Lots of fabric and customization options
- Turnaround time is typically reasonable compared to some other customized furniture places (4-6 weeks here compared to an ETA of 8 weeks I was given elsewhere)
Cons:
- The installation instructions were terrible. Missing steps, not clear about what parts to use, etc. Worse than Ikea.
- Quality should be better for the price IMO. Although it is a step up from Ikea for sure, a lot of it is still flat-packed DIY furniture, just built to a higher standard. I was disappointed to find that my upholstered bed actually uses VELCRO to hold the fabric in place (you drape it on yourself while installing it). I was expecting it to be properly upholstered.
- It doesn't matter how much you spend, they generally won't negotiate pricing at all.
