At the suggestion of friends, we tried Korean BBQ for the first time. Biwon was their choice. We could smell the food from outside and it was wonderful. We were greeted and seated immediately by a very pleasant hostess. No sooner had we sat down and we were being served the salad and ample sides by a very friendly server. We ordered the garlic pork belly, Bulgogi, spicy chicken, spicy pork, spicy calamari. The calamari was the only disappointment. It was very tough. The jalapeno poppers were the best I've ever had.Cucumber kimchi was excellent and I am not a kimchi fan.The gyoza was excellent. We did not try the sushi which I regret. I'll order that next time. It is reasonably priced considering how much food one gets. Definitely worth it. The service was spot on. We were not kept waiting for anything. We had a full table from the moment we sat down.I will not hesitate to try new items next time.
