For several years my coworkers and friends raved about this place saying it is the best BBQ in the area, it's pretty good but my search continues. Sweet tea is perfect - not overly sweet like other places. Brunswick stew is good, and I really liked their homemade curly chips (better than the fries). Potato salad had a little too much egg in it but was good. I finished off my child's cheeseburger which was good and tasted fresh off the grill (with the flavorful charred bits) As for the BBQ pulled pork, it had good flavor at the start , you'll get a good amount of pork. For me it was not really the smoky flavor I crave and parts of it looked like it was in the bottom of the pan(scraps) not pulled like I was expecting. Hush puppies were on point and the waitresses were fantastic! I'd definitely come back, but maybe earlier in the lunch or dinner hour rather than post-rush. May even try the Mooresville location next time.
