  • This is the second time in a year that this bakery has severely disappointed me in their customer service. I requested black and white cookies in a heart shape. First the kid I spoke to claimed they only did circles. I let him know I'd had heart shaped ones at a family wedding recently. He then informed me that heart shaped cookies required a 5 dozen minimum order, and he guesses that they do make them. I agreed, but asked if, since they are for a gender reveal, that some could be dipped in blue icing, others in pink. He said I'd need to order 5 dozen OF EACH COLOR to make it worth their while. Do they have only one bowl to mix colors? I asked if he could please speak to someone to see if an accommodation could be made and he said that no matter who I spoke to, nothing could be done. Then he backpedaled and said he'd speak to their head baker who reiterated the claim of this kid. I guess my $60 order is a mere pittance and didn't matter. Months ago in a separate incident, my friend tried to order a baby shower cake with two tiers, and this bakery REFUSED to do anything other than a sheet cake. Don't they do weddings all the time? Never have I seen a sheet wedding cake. This place makes simple requests seem extraordinary and inconvenient. I simply refuse to spend my money here, ever again.
