  • I went here with a friend to grab a quick drink before I met up with someone else. I chose Hoops because it was the first bar I saw after coming out of the subway. When I suggested to my friend that we go to Hoops, somebody on the street overheard us. That man told me that whatever I do, I should not eat there. He was apparently just there, and had a terrible experience. I ignored his advice - it's hard to screw up a beer really, but I figure it's gotta bad if somebody is willing to stop you on the street to tell you to avoid it.
