  • Visiting Toronto on business this week, our team was pointed in the direction of La Fenice for a good Italian meal. La Fenice's service was lovely. We had a very earnest Italian waiter who hovered around topping up glasses and generally making sure we were all having a wonderful time. One little hitch was they ran out of one appetiser and one dessert, which we had ordered. And the wine recommendations were so - so. However, my fish special (orata) was cooked to perfection. And everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the meal.
