Had been going to this salon for a few years. Michelle had done it the best but last time I made appt she was no longer there. Wish I knew where she went!! Had some older man - John. Thought sure they wouldn't hire someone for a higher prices salon if he was not good. I should of known from the moment I sat down he said "tell me how you want your hair and then I will tell you how it should be done" OMG! I said go get my card I hAve been here several times and want it the same way I like it. He got my card from front desk read it and said I don't think it is the right colors. I explained I get my hair roots medium brown with partial skinny blond highlights. Nothing out of the ordinary.... when I wAlked out I had barely a trim, no shape to the cut even though I asked for long layers. On the floor was about 1/4 cup of hair, My highlights were brass/rust/orange looking and it cost 175.00.... that's it never again. They are supposed to be a high end salon as you can read very expensive. When he was going to rinse hair I said it needs to be on longer for the right color he then said no long enough. When he started blow drying my hair I told him I don't want brassy orange highlights he said it just looks that way be cause of the lights in here after a few days you will love the color. Decided not to argue or go back since I had alreAdy wAsted 4 hours of my time and he did not listen to me so I hAve now taken my business somewhere else at half the price!! Listen to your customers! The owner was not there maybe she would have stepped in I don't know but I do not like to argue and at that point after many times trying to tell him and he did not listen I was done. Lesson learned from initial conversation I should of walked out.
