I have stayed at many hotels on the strip and had never stayed at Harrah's so when I saw that they had a $25 weekday rate I thought, why not?! Well needless to say I felt like I got what I paid for. The floor we were on and the room itself were musty and moldy smelling. The floor was a mix of non-smoking and smoking rooms which just does not jive for the non-smokers. The ceilings were low and the bathroom was poorly lit...taking a shower in the dark is not as fun as it sounds. Our room was interior facing towards the pool area which wasn't as nice as a strip view, however we could see the High Roller observation wheel so that made up for it somewhat. The positives of the room were that it was clean, most importantly the bed and bathroom. The thermostat which sits right near the bed had a glaringly bright little indicator light which is highly disturbing to many people at night who want the traditional hotel room darkness. Harrah's is conveniently located near the High Roller and the new shopping/dining area outside of the LINQ. Overall it was an okay experience but Harrah's is definitely not my first choice on the Strip.
