  • I love Costco! Yes, it can be very busy and yes it is huge! If you are wanting a quick shop then this may not be the place. Avoid peak busy times if you can. Saturday and Sunday are busy. So, if you must go on the weekend then go first or last part of the day. It has been well worth my while to get to know the store. The deals and quality of the products are generally exceptional! I like being able to one-stop shop for for a range of items well beyond the typical grocery store. When they have clearance items or sales one can score some amazing deals. Last spring I stocked up on Tuff Athletic $10.00 yoga tops (great quality!). The staff are helpful with refunds or exchanges. . The customer service is generally very good and polite. The bargain food court offerings are popular; if I indulge, I have the hot turkey and provolone on a Ciabatta bun, it is generous enough for two to share. The hot dogs and pizza are popular. Another reviewer ranted about the Poutine. Yes, I had the cold cheese curd experience too. So perhaps pass on the Poutine. Just a few... of the unbeatable deals at Costco are: *** Frozen bagged fruit and vegetables (organic options) *** Toilet Paper *** Paper Towels *** Women's Yoga Pants ( Tuff Athletics - under twenty dollars) *** Kids Clothes *** Bedding *** Garden Centre Offerings (April - June) *** Cereal *** Baking Goods and Spices. *** TV's, Computers, Speakers, Tablets, etc.. *** Cleaning Supplies. *** Pet Food, Treats, Bowls, Beds. *** Pharmacy Check out the Costco website for special online offerings and great deals. If you Google Costco shopping tips you will find a bunch. - A good one; If you find a price that has a .97 on it, then you have found a markdown price. Another good thing to know is that if you find something you want at the right price then snap it up, what they keep in stock can vary and I have occasional missed out because I opted to delay the purchase. Costco is not perfect but they are above and beyond in so many ways that I am more then happy to flow with them.
