We went to Tessaro's on a Saturday late afternoon for an early dinner. We knew we wanted to get the famous hamburgers from their storied grill, and it was, indeed, worth the trip. I ordered the Bacon and Blue burger with half home fries half potato salad. (pictured) My husband ordered a Swiss Cheese hamburger with potato salad. The Bacon and Blue burger had blue cheese crumbles and crispy bacon on top - all ingredients were very high quality, but it wasn't my favorite flavor combination. Absolutely nothing wrong with the cooking or creation of the burger, just too high end of a burger for me. I ordered a very plain one to go and the next day enjoyed a delicious burger that reminded me of the great burgers from the cookouts of my childhood. The restaurant became packed by the time we left and I would recommend going when there's a break in the crowd, either late afternoon or after the dinner rush.
