Service is the best. Menu is for the meat lovers of the world. Go early on a Friday or Saturday or you will be out of luck. Sasaphras drink was excellent. They make it on site from roots, but I will order it next time "neat" without the creme and such. Dining room is small but adequate. Door to the outside has an entry way so you can sit by the door and not get clobbered by wind, cold or heat depending on the season. Trout of fine. The salami plate was excellent by most standards but I realized I am not that much of a meat person, or salami style meat person. Fine dining to be sure. I give 5 stars to include the food, the wait staff, and the ultra friendly manager that was there. Get reservations early. Go early. And if you want to hang a bit, tell the manager ahead of time so they don't program the table away. Tip generously please.
PS deserts were stunningly well done as was the espresso. Next time I will start with espresso and desert!
