| - I got a groupon to come here for 80 mink eyelash extensions for $38. That's a pretty good steal, considering how I usually pay $80-100 for the same service at other places. The office is small, but clean. The ladies are also very friendly there.
The lady was gentle on my eyelids, even though I have super sensitive eyes and they water really easily. She carefully did my extensions, recommending the length. I'm a carefree person so I just said "do what looks good" and she went for the natural look with some short and some long extensions combined. They are pretty understaffed and definitely need to hire someone to work the front desk- the lady doing my lashes got up countless times to greet new people walking through the door, or to answer the phone to book appointments. It took well over an hour because there were so many interruptions. She also tried to sell me different services as she was doing my eyelashes, saying how I should get permanent eyebrow tattoos and whatnot. I don't really like that, just because I don't like pressure, and this was a load of pressure. When my lashes were done, she left me in the room for 10 minutes, waiting for the glue to dry. It was awkward but whatever, no big deal. Now that I'm home and examined them more closely, the eyelashes are alright, not the best I've ever gotten- they're quite sparse for 80 lashes and it doesn't look newly done.. Don't get me wrong, they're not fugly.. still very pretty.
The groupons you buy don't include tax, so there's a steady rate that they charge on top of what you've already paid- something that I don't see a lot, especially from groupon deals.. The other services they offer vary, and some of them are good deals- such as the underarm laser hair removal that goes for $200 for 5 sessions AND it's buy 5 sessions, get 1 free. I'm seriously considering that, cause that's amazing. The other service I'd be interested in is the permanent eyebrow tattoo (especially since this lady advertised it to me so many damn times, and didn't let me leave until she showed me all the clients she's done on her phone). It's $380, which she told me was a current promo.. is that cheap?! No idea.. I'll hold off on it.
