| - I can only speak for the fittness center, as I did not use any of the MMA features, but honestly, it was by far, the worst gym I have ever used. When you first walk through, it seems okay and it was close to my office and reasonably priced, so that was a plus. However, the place is not well kept at all. The locker room (which is actually just a glorified bathroom) is beyond dirty. We're talking sticky floors, puddles on the floor...It's gross. The equipment is very close together and there are not enough weights - I always had to hunt down free weights.
I worked out in the mornings before work and instead of turning the air conditioning on (In July), they always just propped open the door. Everytime I would walk by the thermastat, it would read at least 80 degrees, which when you're working out and sweating is a lot.
The staff members are rude and their "trainers" look like they would benefit from taking some of their own advice...
I also signed up for what I thought was a month to month membership and when I went to cancel was told it was a one year contract and I would have to pay a cancellation fee, which was reallyy irritating. However, I'd much prefer to pay a cancellation fee and be done with this place than ever have to come back again.
I left for a gym that was slightly more expensive and further from my office, but the quality of equipment, professionalism of staff, and overall cleanliness more than justify the extra expense.
My advice: If you're interested in the MMA side of it, ask someone else...But if you're only interested in the fittness center side of it, avoid it at all costs.
