rev:text	This was my first experience with Ten Spot and I don't think I'll be returning. I treated two friends to manicures from this location as birthday treats. Both were happy with their manicures and service, which is why I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 2. However, I was not happy with this place. I made the bookings, but when we went in (a little earlier than our appointment time) I was largely ignored. Two manicurists set up two stations and got started on my friends. Meanwhile I sat between the two pairs waiting for my own manicurist. When she did arrive, she didn't introduce herself, just got started (without asking me for any personal preferences, etc). She also didn't ask if I wanted anything to drink (my friends were offered tea and water by their manicurists). I was going on vacation in a few days and wanted white nails. They found the pure white coloured nail polish (which had not been on display). This pleases me very much as it was what I wanted. When my nails were drying, I was again largely ignored by my manicurist while the other two came to check up on my friends. The check out was fine however, a few days later I went to Mexico. Within a day of my being in Mexico (ocean and pool) my white nails turned blue. Here's the best part: I got my pedicure done at my usual mani/pedi spot on the Danforth. My toes stayed pristine white throughout my entire trip and after j got home. Therefore, the quality of the nail polish or the base/top coats aren't great at Ten Spot and for the price I paid my service was subpar. It's a pretty set up, but ultimately, not worth while.
