This was a fun treat. I was invited here by a colleague who works in this area. I was in town on business, and we enjoyed a lunch there. They serve a variety of artisanal creations based on basic American foods. For example, they added a nice kick of tarragon to my tuna sandwich (which the graciously switched to a wrap at my request).
It was a very hot day, or I would have been tempted to try the soups. Several people had them and they smelled delicious, but I simply couldn't manage with 90+ degree weather afoot.
They also served some salads to our table, which looked delightful, and the server was very thoughtful about how he presented the options and the finished food upon arrival.
I was mostly impressed that a man who was walking around cleaning tables, and being generally polite, was later identified by my lunch-mate as the owner of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place.
