  • Okay... first off. Dennis is adorable and I felt like the whole time I was talking to my grandpa! He was so friendly and kind.. and absolutely so welcoming. He showed me all around the area. Now the elegant barn might through you off because it is in someone's house that they've opened into a venue. They have done a great job and it is super homey feel. You even use their kitchen. The outside is so beautiful but the place where you would stand needs an adjustment.. i would say a gazebo or arch. The barn reception area IS TOO CUTE! This place is a great choice but there are restrictions... you clean up what you bring in, no alcohol at all, and music off at 9:30 out by 10. This place is perfect for smaller weddings I think. Dennis will then sit you down and discussion Everything with you. He even gave us advice on other places to look at and tips room help when looking. He was so great. I'm just bummed we can't book there because of the alcohol... we definitely have some wine drinkers in our families. The barn area reminded me of home in NC.
