I gave them 2 stars for many reasons. Despite my rating my hair turned out great. Now for the rest. The hair braiding area is located in a lil shop on the side of a home. It is not a shop. It was busy when I arrived. Even tho I made a appointment they still had ppl ahead of me, which was fine. When they started on my hair they had 2+ people on it at once. I never got a consisted Braider. It all ways changed with the 6-7 Braiders there. They kept rotating which was frustrating. One moment you got a nice Braider the next u got a heavy handed one. Which most of them are. They didn't allow me to take a break so I sat there for 5 1/2 hours neck jerking and all. It was really hard trying to keep your head in a certain position because there were 2+ Braiders yanking you in opposite directions. What really brought them down from a 5 to a 2 was the fact that they kept pulling my freakin edges! I told them it hurt. They let up for a couple of secs and then went back to yanking them. Shiz it was really painful. I've had my hair braided many times but NEVER so freakin ruff in my life. They are Africans so they would speak rudely about me in there own language if I complained. They weren't social. They didn't hardly talk to me expect wen I complained or they needed their money... Which the ask for before they are finished by the way. So half the time I had to hold the multiple braids they were pulling in order to be comfortable. That, I did not like. Other than that. It turned out ok. Would have been 5 if it weren't for the poor experience.
