| - I love the whole Soho Franchise! On my last trip to Las Vegas I tried Soho Sushi Burrito and it was pretty awesome so naturally I wanted to try their sushi restaurant.
I had made reservations for my fiancé and I earlier in the day, which was a good idea because this place gets packed fast. We were seated right away upon arriving, and the vibes were friendly and casual.
Service was a bit slow but good. Our server was nice and checked on us often. He took our drink orders right away and gave us a lot of time to look at the menu.
We ordered the following: Carpaccio; Golden Ocean Trout and Salmon with Avocado Creme, Premium Sashimi Platter, Kumamoto Oysters with Uni and Ikura (not on the menu), Multiple Nigiri Pieces, Braised Short Ribs, and Hamachi Kama (not on the menu).
The Golden Ocean Trout was the best Carpaccio style sashimi I have ever had in my life. The way they prepared it was just incredible. The flavors and mouthfeel was out of this world, this is a must order! The Salmon with Avocado Creme was good too, very fresh.
The nigiri pieces and sashimi here were generously portioned and very fresh. A few of my Maguro were a little chewy but other then that everything was good.
The Kama was excellent. Buttery, tender and juicy. It was just cooked and flavored so well, some of the best we've ever had. We were so excited to eat it we didn't even take a picture! The Kumamoto oysters with Uni was good, not the best I've ever had but definitely delicious still. The short ribs had good flavor but were quite dry.
Overall we had a great time here. The service was a little slow but they always made sure we had what we needed and they were very nice. One of the managers or owners came by to talk to us (probably because of all the food we ordered). The food was awesome, we will definitely be back!!
