I love Starbucks and I am frequent customer. I go to many Starbucks no matter where I am... Today I am in the Cleveland Hopkins airport. I came into Starbucks with my sister in law and we were the second ones in line after a young lady. There was 1 female employee talking and being quite loud and fooling around making drinks for what seemed to be 2 people who worked at the airport. We're still in line and no one has taken our order. Then a second employee comes out and starts helping the female employee make the rest of the 3 customers drinks which again they seem to know and they are now dancing to the music that's playing and one of them eating ice from the icebox. Then A THIRD employee comes out from the back and starts putting stock away.. We are now in line for about 5-7 mins. Then the female employee yells to the third employee "you have customers" and he quickly comes and starts ringing us up. By now there are now 5 of us in line.
From where I am standing I can see the female employee pour the remaining of a customers drink into a cup and starts to drink it herself.
The second employee is still popping ice Cubes in his mouth..
The third employee who is also the cashier is fairly nice and seemed somewhat new.
Meanwhile we are waiting for our drinks the female employee proceeds to clean the lobby area which is a disaster. All the tables are sticky, the chairs are everywhere, and there's trash on the floor. When the employee sees a "mess" on the table, she yells across the store to the ice eating employee "do you see this! Do you see this" like in disbelieve that she has to pick up after people.
When we finally receive our first drink (which was delicious) we notice he skipped my sister in laws drink and starts making the guy behind us order.. He and the first employee start commenting on the current song that's playing and how "Boring" it is and start going back and forth to who should go change it. The guy making our drinks finally decides to go change the song so he walks to the back and come back and proceeds making the drink.
By now he notices were still standing there and he asks what we're waiting on and we tell him.. He makes our drink with no urgency whatsoever and proceeds to eating ice from the ice box.
Worst service ever.
By the way they had no aprons or hats on.
I'm in total shock! No regards for the customer whatsoever. Every time I think of Cleveland I will always remember the terrible Starbucks service I had.
