  • After all of the build-up of friends praising this place, I was expecting better. I didn't see anything really special here. Of course, they had a decent mix of various types of Asian packaged items but there is another Asian supermarket a couple of blocks away that is bigger and seems to have a better selection. Maybe the employees here are friendlier but I only bought one thing and couldn't really say. Produce and meat didn't look as inviting as they did back when we had a similar market in Honolulu. But admittedly, maybe that is just because that one closed a long time ago and I have undeserved charitable memories of it.
