Bleachers isn't a bad place to stop if you want to catch a game on TV. They have numerous HD screens, all of the major satellite sports packages, a full bar and full dinner menu.
Drinks were pretty average and not horribly priced-- $4.5 for beers, $6ish for basic cocktails. Bleachers doesn't have an amazing selection of spirits, but have all the basics covered with decent brands.
Food was also pretty average bar fare-- not amazing but not horrible either. Their chili exceeded my expectations and was hearty and tasty. The meatball sub my boyfriend ordered was pretty bland-- from the tasteless bread to the unmelted cheese adorning the meatballs. The spinach salad was full of kalamata olives, which was nice, but the balsamic sherry dressing didn't have as much kick or taste as I expected. My friends' quesadillas and chicken caesars were sort of typical bar fare and seemed a little pricey.
Bleachers has pool tables, although we didn't play so I don't know anything about the pricing. Given how big the bar is there is somewhat limited seating; I couldn't figure out why the configuration didn't quite work, but it seemed there was a lot of unused open space.
Staff was very nice. When we were there they were short staffed and the waitress (who was also the greeter) had her hands full with numerous full tables and managed to keep everything in check, all while working from memory. I was very impressed. She was also very willing to put on the Maryland NIT game (please, keep your NIT comments to yourself) when I asked.
Bleachers has rotating specials and a weekly Texas Hold 'Em tourney that seemed pretty popular. Should you happen to be in the Awatukee Foothills and want to catch a game Bleachers is a reasonable sports bar option.
