  • I am basing this review on first impressions, and not on actual work performed-yet. Mr. Seago arrived on time to give us an estimate for some extensive landscape work that we have wanted done for some now. He spent a great deal of time discussing with us, what would be the best plan that would fit our budget. Mainly we were looking to replace some synthetic turf that another contractor had installed several years ago. Mr. Seago needed to pick up some sod samples, which he did the next day and again returned at the appointed time. He, again spent considerable time measuring and computing what seemed a very reasonable estimate for this job. There was no pressure selling, no up-selling and I believe that Mr. Seago is a reputable person. I have set a tentative date for him to do the work and will make an update after the work is completed. Edited review: (from 5 star to 1 star). After a few months, i decided that before I would replace my synthetic turf, I should replace my irrigation-sprinkler system. I put it out for bids, and Blake was one of the bidders. His bid was a bit higher than others, but he assured me that everything would be completely replaced with totally new equipment and that his "crew" would be on the project within a week or so and have it completed within 2-21/2 days. I have a very large lot with lots of plants and trees and imagined that I would see a crew of several guys working their tails off to get it completed in that period of time. Well, nothing like that ever happened. He would promise to show up "tomorrow at 9:00" and if he showed up at all it was a miracle. He has a playbook of excuses as to why, and only once did he show with 2 guys for a partial day's work. A couple of days he appeared with 1 other guy, or by himself, but mostly not at all. I had to fire Blake and arrange to have the work done by a different person. Just read Aaron L's and James B's reviews and my experience is virtually the same. Why does a person advertise as a Landscaper when they do not have a Landscape Contractor's License?
