| - Yes! Finally, a Tous les Jours has opened an Arizona store.
If there is one food cuisine lacking in the US today, it is affordable French. Mind you, I'm not speaking about the high-end places. There, it's put you hand on the scale and everyone for themselves $$$$ expensive .
But at the more moderate end, there is some hope. Besides Tous les Jours, a Korean interpretation of French. There are also La Madeleine, from the French Groupe le Duff, who also owns Mimi's btw and Belgium's Le Pain Quotidien, meaning the daily bread.
Tous les Jours thinks of themselves as a "French-Asian Bakery, meaning of 'EVERYDAY', serving a unique selection of bakery goods and beverages made with the highest quality ingredients from South Korea (CJ Group). "
But here is an obvious and simple Sitrep: All of them offer fantastic tasting food. That's it!
The Chocolate Croissant tastes like a chocolate croissant, Palmier (Elephant Ears) taste like Palmier and Croque Monsieur, tastes like... wait for it ... a really good ham and cheese sandwich. LOL
I bought a bunch of good tasting stuff today for the family. I'll let you check out the photos, and for $22, I think I did okay. As my children would say, gomabseubnida
Enjoy!
