I have ordered from Anthropologie's website numerous times but NO MORE! The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Rude & ignorant to say the least! I returned the last order I placed in their shipping bag with their return label. After numerous phone calls, still no credit on my account. I contacted my bank so they could dispute it. This is a violation of the consumer protection act, a federal law. It took over 2 months to finally receive my credit but only after I objected by email to Anthropologie was I returned my shipping fee.
A year prior I was sent what was supposed to be a white blouse. It was FILTHY, black to charcoal stains all over it. It looked like it had been dragged through the dirty warehouse floor. I called them & complained & I was given a refund. They sent me an email giving me a "special 20% discount" on any item as a courtesy. When I tried to use that "special" discount, I was refused. They denied saying it had never happened & I received it on my previous order! I even emailed them giving them proof of that email & again, refused it. No apology, nothing.
Has anyone noticed, Anthropologie doesn't even bother to defend themselves on Yelp? They don't care about the customer. Overpriced & poorly made crap!
I'm sure many of you have seen the beautiful hand created artsy things they carry on their site. Well guess what, they pay those artists a paltry 3% on those high priced items.
Don't support poor service & a bad company! STOP buying from them Period.
