  • I took my wife's 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee here to fix the ventilation system since there was no heat on the passenger vents. This is the second time I've had to do this and a systemic problem with the vehicle. After paying the $1600 bill to replace every vent door and motor the AC quit working after 3 days...clearly they didn't reassemble the AC system properly and there was a leak in it. I brought it back and was told that I would need a new AC compressor for $900. They have to discharge the system to replace the vent doors and my compressor magically fails 3 days later? Wrong. I took it to a small independent shop that actually used a leak detector and fixed the issue with a few O-rings and a recharge of the system and it's still working fine six months later. Obviously this dealership didn't want to own up to their mistake and decided they would rather gouge me for a compressor I didn't need. I have never seen such a blatant lie/scam in my life. I won't be back and I would not recommend anyone to ever take their vehicle in for service here.
