  • I have lived in Pittsburgh for about four months and have put off the daunting task of finding my "Pittsburgh Salon". To say I was nervous about looking is an understatement. I started my quest on Yelp and came across the reviews for Tula; I just have to say that they met and exceeded my expectations! I called and scheduled my appointment and they were able to fit me in the same afternoon! My hair was long, dead, and flat. Lena worked her magic on me and I have happy, healthy, hair again. I absolutely LOVE what she did with my hair, with minimal direction from me! Lena and the other staff were so down to earth and easy to talk to, not fake and intimidating! Trula has definitely gained a customer! The salon itself is edgy, unique and inviting. They offered me coffee or tea as soon as I walked in the door. I LOVED the fact that you are not hit with the overwhelming odor of hair care products/dyes; the place smelled clean and fresh - not a hint of that terrible odor you get at other hair salon. Overall my experience was top-notch and I couldn't be happier with the result! I have found my "Pittsburgh Salon"! :)
