| - I looove TMI. I am also probably biased as I live in the neighborhood and have a dog. Anyplace that I can walk home from after a few drinks and also provides my dog with her own drink deserves 5 stars ;) And we both get exercised which is a plus!
But really, the sandwiches are delicious (by now, I've eaten most of them which is why I wish they'd update!), the beers are good, service is fine (by myself, with a group, with my dog, without my dog- I've never been ignored) and the ambiance is chill (the constant hip-hop music seems a bit incongruous with the 'image' of the place but as I like the music they play, no complaints). There's not too much more to ask for when all you want to do is relax with your pooch or some friends- or both!
I should probably stop by with more purpose to take advantage of happy hour/daily deals. If I could give them higher than 5 stars, I totally would!
Other stuff:
- this is a SUPER dog-friendly patio (ex. one night, my half of the patio had 5 dogs total)
- keep in mind that it is an ale house and cafe NOT a restaurant
- a review or two mentioned how dogs got better service than their kids ... they get a bowl of water, and though they're pretty nice bowls, they are not an entirely separate menu
- if you can't find parking in the parking lot, there's plenty of (free) street parking
