The decor and food are actually better than the Aria. It's very modern and comfortable and it wasn't busy at all. The Chinese food all looked better than it tasted as the beans and noodles were undercooked but the mongolian chicken was excellent, nice and tenderized. The pasta was overcooked to the point that the penne fell apart and there were dry bits as it had not been turned in a long time but the tomato sauce was excellent. The lebanese chicken and rice was a definite hit and the prime rib and yams were good too but their whipped potatoes looked like glue and the pizza crust was not very good. Their sushi was sad, it looked like yesterdays all piled onto a mound like a mess, they shouldn't even serve it. Their crab legs were warmed up, the way I like them, and they even had crab openers. There were a ton of pies (not my favorite) and other deserts that I didn't care for but their soft ice cream was very tasty.
My favorite of all was the automatic hot drink dispensing machine. It made the most large, strong, great tasting Mochas I have ever had from a machine and I went back several times, I wish I had one at home.
The server was the nicest lady I have ever had at a buffet, I felt like she was my mom, and she told us a funny story as well. I will be back for lunch or breakfast for sure as I plan to stay at the Plaza more often.
