rev:text	3.5 stars We've come here before, I had the dynamite shrimp grilled.. Was ok, not spicy at all though. We decided to stop by again today for brunch. It was packed but luckily the bar was wide open.. Who needs tables right? Our server was not as attentive as I had hoped though she was nice. Only filled out waters once. It also seemed very busy but still. I got the midnight special with a side of rye toast while the bf got the bubba special. Food didn't take too long considering the crowd. Wow, I got a lot of food, couldn't finish it. The grits were so good! It feels like so much butter you think there was cheese in there. Not for the dieter. The chocolate chip pancakes were good, I like that they give the syrup warmed. I took stars off because I asked for poached eggs and a majority of my eggs were overcooked, almost to a full boil. Bleh.. The rye was also overly toasted and very hard. The bf's bubba special looked amazing, I couldn't take a pic, he ate it too fast lol open faced biscuit, cheddar scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, hash browns and turkey sausage. Very yummy and great bang for your buck! I'm getting this breakfast the next time I'm feeling eggs! We also took a slice of chocolate cake home. It's very rich.. Took 3 days for us to take it down. Tip: use vanilla ice cream.. It balances the richness. Midnight is open 24/7, nice! Great drunk munchies! Breakfast, lunch and dinner, everything sounds good. Will be back, hopefully my eggs are the way I like it. Maybe for the shrimp and grits next time, imagined they are very good here.
