  • I really like this place. We got a Queen Suite with a Strip view and it's been very relaxing. The room is immaculate, quiet and smoke free!! No heavy perfumes or residue of tobacco smoke. I highly recommend this place if you want a bit of luxury and close proximity to Mandalay Bay if you have a family. The Delano is perfect for families, couples who enjoy peace and quiet and those seeking retreat from Las Vegas for the night or even a couple of hours during the day. The light colors in the room make it calming and it feels good. I don't like the halls though. The color scheme is wrong. You feel like you're entering a seedy hotel with the color choice and pattern of the carpet. The flow is off. It's not the walls, only the carpet color and pattern. It throws off the vibe of serenity and exclusivity. When you walk through the halls and into your room, you feel like you're in a different hotel. Whoever picked out the color schemes for the hallway got it wrong. It reminds me of a dual personality. Dark and light. Kind of disappointing. They should have keep the color schemes of the rooms throughout the hallways, but just a bit more deep. All in all, I really like the Delano. Much more than Mandalay Bay. Mandalay Bay is like going into the hood compared to the vibe of the Delano. I will be going back for sure. Minimal noise, it's clean, calming and a short walk into the Mandalay Bay!
