| - I am new to Vietnamese food. I tried PT Noodles a couple weeks ago, and enjoyed it. Today some co-workers invited me to go to lunch with them at King Eggroll, and I'm very glad they did.
We started with the spring rolls. Very fresh, and very tasty, and the sauce they brought for dipping was delicious (especially once I added some of the Sriracha (sp?) hot sauce they keep on the tables).
I ordered #14, Pho with beef. The broth was delicious, but needed something. My companions recommended the Sriracha and the Hosien sauces, and I fiddled around until I found the perfect balance for me.
I ordered the "large." It was a LOT of food, but I pretty much finished it. I even started drinking some of the broth from the bowl, but felt a little uncouth so I left the rest.
The service was good. Very polite staff, short waits for everything, refilled our water. The price was very reasonable, just over $11 for the large Pho and 3 good sized spring rolls (I shared).
Highly recommend you give this place a try. I'm going back.
